Hawkins is at the frontend of delivering key facilities and visitor venues for New Zealanders and overseas visitors as they pour into the country for events such as the recent World Rowing Championship (November 2010) and the Rugby World Cup (2011).

 

   
Karapiro Events Centre and Finish Tower Ready for the prestigious World Rowing Championships held in early November 2010, the first time this event has been in New Zealand for 30 years, Hawkins replaced aged facilities with the modern Don Rowlands Community Centre and Tower, a lasting legacy for the community and generations of rowers to come. Viaduct Events Centre, Auckland - $32 million multi-purpose events centre - with exhibition, convention, and hospitality flexibility due for completion prior to the Rugby World Cup.
   

Auckland Art Gallery $121 million redevelopment of an iconic treasure protecting the past and providing an exciting, vibrant and welcoming art experience, due for completion mid 2011.

Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin - $198 million, 30,300 capacity stadium sporting a myriad of firsts - New Zealand’s highest, heaviest crane lift; first undercover stadium and largest multi-purpose arena; plus the world’s largest natural grass permanently covered stadium.

   

Elegant two storey extension to City Gallery Wellington providing two new galleries dedicated to emerging Wellington, Maori and Pacific art and a 135 seat auditorium.

Aotea Square Redevelopment, Auckland - major $52 million strengthening project artfully landscaped for large outdoor events

 

The Tauranga Indoor Sports & Exhibition Centre will accommodate indoor community sports with seating for 3000. Due for completion mid 2011.
